This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our clinical trial matching service (Health) and civic polling service (Pulse).

• Name, email address, and account credentials
• Date of birth, biological sex, and ethnicity (for trial matching)
• Zip code and geographic location
• Health conditions, medications, and lab results (voluntarily provided)

• Poll votes and participation history

• IP address and approximate location

4. HIPAA Compliance

MatchVox is fully HIPAA compliant. All Protected Health Information (PHI) is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. We maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all third-party services that process PHI. We conduct annual security audits and penetration testing.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Clinical trial sponsors — only with your explicit consent and only the information necessary for eligibility screening
• Service providers — who assist in operating our platform under strict data processing agreements
• Aggregated data — anonymized poll results and health trend data that cannot identify individuals
• Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or court order

6. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and data
• Export: Download your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Health data is retained for 7 years after last activity to comply with medical record retention requirements. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
